This Privacy Policy explains how SOS Calmia (“the App”) handles information when you use it.

By using SOS Calmia, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information I Collect

SOS Calmia is designed to collect as little personal information as possible.
Information may be collected in the following situations:

1.1. Information you provide directly
  • If you contact me by email for support or feedback, I will receive:

    • your email address

    • the content of your message and any information you choose to include

I use this information only to reply to your request and keep a record of communications if needed.

1.2. Information collected by app stores and your device

When you download and use SOS Calmia, Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) may collect device and usage data in accordance with their own privacy policies (for example: device model, operating system version, crash logs, purchase history). I do not control this data collection. Please refer to their policies for details:

1.3. In-app analytics or third-party tools

At the time of writing, SOS Calmia does not intentionally integrate separate advertising SDKs or third-party analytics that identify you personally. If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to clearly describe:

  • what tools are used,

  • what data they collect,

  • and for what purposes.

 

2. How I Use Information

I may use the information described above for the following purposes:

  • Support and communication – to answer your messages and provide help.

  • App improvement – to understand issues (for example, crashes reported by the app stores) and improve stability and content.

  • Legal compliance and security – to comply with applicable laws, enforce Terms of Service, and protect my rights.

I do not sell your personal information and do not use it to show third-party targeted advertising.

3. Legal Bases (for users in the EU / EEA / UK)

If you are located in the European Union, EEA, or UK, I rely on the following legal bases for processing:

  • Performance of a contract – when processing is necessary to provide you with the App (for example, handling your subscription through the app stores).

  • Legitimate interests – for support, app improvement, and basic analytics that respect your privacy.

  • Consent – when you voluntarily contact me and choose to share information.

 

4. Sharing of Information

I may share information in limited situations:

  • Service providers – for example, email providers or cloud services that help me store and manage communications. These providers are allowed to process data only to perform services for me and must protect it appropriately.

  • App store operators – Apple and Google manage purchase processing and may share limited information related to subscriptions and payments.

  • Legal reasons – if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect my rights or the safety of others.

I do not share your information with advertisers for their own marketing.

 

5. Data Retention
  • Emails and support messages are kept as long as needed to resolve your request and for a reasonable time afterwards in case of follow-up issues.

  • Where applicable laws require longer or shorter retention periods, I will follow those rules.

If you want me to delete a specific email conversation, you can request that at any time (see “Your Rights” below).

 

6. International Transfers

Depending on where you live and where service providers or app stores are located, your information may be stored or processed in countries other than your own.
I aim to work with providers that take appropriate measures to protect your data in line with applicable laws.

 

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • to request access to the personal information I hold about you

  • to request correction of inaccurate information

  • to request deletion of your information (where applicable)

  • to object to or restrict certain types of processing

  • to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

8. Children’s Privacy

SOS Calmia is not directed to children under the age of 16, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact me so I can delete it.

 

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When I make changes, I will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. The new policy will apply as soon as it is posted.

If you continue to use SOS Calmia after an update, you agree to the revised Privacy Policy.
